The first international game of the season is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 5, at Corinthians Arena in São Paulo. While the Los Angeles Chargers have been revealed as the home team for that game, their opponent will not be announced until Wednesday.
However, Eric Fisher of FrontOfficeSports.com (h/t Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio) reported that the AFC West rival Kansas City Chiefs will be the Chargers' opponent in Brazil.
Per NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, the Minnesota Vikings will be the first team in NFL history to play back-to-back international games in different countries.
The Vikings, who will be the road team in both games, will first face the Pittsburgh Steelers in Dublin on Sept. 28, followed by the Cleveland Browns in London on Oct. 5.
Minnesota vs. Pittsburgh marks the first time an NFL regular-season game will ever be played in Ireland, which was a natural progression given the league's longstanding presence in England.
Spain is also a first-time host for a regular-season game this season with the Washington Commanders and Miami Dolphins meeting in Madrid on Nov. 16, which is the final international game of the 2025 season.
A game will be played in Germany for the fourth consecutive year. However, Berlin will be the host city for the first time when the Atlanta Falcons take on the Indianapolis Colts.
The NFL made its regular-season debut in Brazil last year, and for the second straight year, São Paulo will host the second game of the season, one day after the Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys meet in the opener.
As for the London games, which have been a staple since 2007, the Denver Broncos vs. New York Jets and Los Angeles Rams vs. Jacksonville Jaguars will join Vikings vs. Browns over the course of three straight weeks in October.
While Vikings vs. Browns and Broncos vs. Jets are set for Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Rams vs. Jags will emanate from Wembley Stadium.
With the exception of 2020 when there were no international games due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Jaguars have played in at least one game in London every year since 2013.
