The Eagles and Cowboys will open the 2025 season on Thursday, Sept. 4.

The Eagles and Cowboys have matched up 10 times since Jalen Hurts took over the starting job in Philadelphia, but both he and Dak Prescott have both been available for just three of those games, according to NFL.com's Nick Shook.

Prescott and the Cowboys boast a 2-1 record in those head-to-head meetings. Most recently, the Eagles lost to Dallas in Philadelphia in December 2023.

The Cowboys were without Prescott in both of their matchups against the Eagles last season, during which Dallas went 0-2 and was outscored by a margin of 75-13.

Prescott, who is rehabbing after undergoing season-ending surgery on a partially torn hamstring in November, joined his team for voluntary OTAs in April. The Cowboys will hope to see him ready for game action in time to face Hurts in Philadelphia this fall.
