George Pickens called out Pittsburgh Steelers fans for spreading "lies" following his trade to the Dallas Cowboys.
"Literally on a plane. No service. Just landed and seen straight lies from Pitt fans," Pickens wrote." Stop with the AI trying to make a story. I'm happy for everything the Steel city did for me."

Pickens was traded to the Dallas Cowboys from the Pittsburgh Steelers on May 7, along with a 2027 sixth-round pick, in exchange for a 2026 third-rounder and a 2027 fifth-round pick.
The move felt inevitable after a rocky 2024 season marked by friction between Pickens, the franchise and head coach Mike Tomlin.
Following the trade, Tomlin kept his first media appearance notably vague, choosing his words carefully and offering little insight into the situation.
“You know, I’m not gonna add any color to it other than what (G.M.) Omar (Khan) told you guys yesterday,” Tomlin told reporters on Saturday. “We thought it was best and timely for all parties involved.”
Pickens unfollowed the Steelers on social media before the trade, further stoking speculation that he was ready to move on. Despite the signs, both Pickens and general manager Khan denied that a trade request was ever made.
