
Former WWE, ECW Star Sabu Dies at Age 60
Professional wrestler Terry Brunk, known to fans by the ring name Sabu, died at the age of 60.
WWE announced the news Sunday. The cause of death was not disclosed.

Sabu quickly gained popularity following his ECW debut in 1993, with memorable matches against WWE Hall of Famers Rob Van Dam and Mick Foley. He was a two-time ECW World Heavyweight Champion.
He eventually made his first WWE appearance in 2006, challenging Rey Mysterio for the World Heavyweight Championship and John Cena for the WWE Championship.
Sabu and his fellow ECW Originals including The Sandman, Tommy Dreamer and Van Dam eventually secured a victory at WrestleMania 23.
Sabu, who was also the nephew of WWE Hall of Famer The Sheik, eventually left WWE in 2007 and made several appearances on the independent circuit.
WWE Superstar Sami Zayn expressed his shock regarding the news, while AEW offered its condolences as well.
Sabu's final appearance in the ring occurred during a retirement match on April 18, defeating Joey Janela in Las Vegas.
