Browns' Mason Graham Vomits During Practice In Rookie Minicamp on Day 2
Cleveland Browns defensive tackle Mason Graham experienced some nausea on the second day of the team's rookie minicamp.
Graham vomited during the 11-on-11 portion of Saturday's minicamp and ran off the field to rinse his helmet, per Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com.
He later returned to participate in individual drills with Browns defensive line coach Jacques Cesaire, via Cabot.
Expectations are high for Graham, as Cleveland selected him with the No. 5 overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft after trading down from No. 2.
He'll look to immediately contribute on a defensive front that already features 2023 Defensive Player of the Year Myles Garrett, as the pairing excited Graham.
"That's the perfect situation I wanted to come into," Graham said after he was drafted, per Anthony Poisal of the team's official website. "He's an established vet that does it the best. He's been the best for quite some time now. He has a lot of knowledge, so I'll just learn from him."
After winning a national championship at Michigan in 2023, the 21-year-old was a consensus All-American in 2024. Graham racked up 45 tackles, seven tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks throughout his final year with the Wolverines.
As he prepares for his inaugural season in Cleveland, he was getting adjusted to the intensity of NFL practices on Saturday.
