Jayden Daniels Offers Advice to Cam Ward in Video Ahead of QB's NFL Rookie Season

Reigning Offensive Rookie of the Year Jayden Daniels gave some advice to Tennessee Titans quarterback Cam Ward as he prepares for his inaugural season in the NFL.

"Have fun," Daniels said in an interview with Yahoo Sports' Jori Epstein. "Just have fun. Everybody's experience is going to be different. Obviously, attack the week as much as possible. But just go out there and have fun, enjoy playing the game that you've played since you were a kid."

Expectations are high for Ward, a the Titans selected him with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft.

As for Daniels, he's very familiar with exceeding expectations. The Washington Commanders passer is coming off a stellar rookie year in 2024, completing 69 percent of his throws for 3,568 yards and 25 touchdowns compared to nine interceptions. He also rushed for 891 yards and six scores.

Daniels helped lead the Commanders to a 12-5 record, as they advanced to the NFC Championship Game for the first time since the 1991 season.

Tennessee will be hoping that Ward can make a similar impact in his first year. The 22-year-old showed poise in the pocket throughout his senior season at Miami, throwing for 4,313 yards and leading the country with 39 touchdown passes.

He was also picked off just seven times.

As the Titans look to improve upon a 3-14 finish in 2024 with Ward under center, Daniels encouraged him to enjoy himself on the field while also staying prepared each week.
