If you're reading this and hoped to snag A'ja Wilson's signature sneaker, then you already missed the boat.

The Nike A'One, inspired by the Las Vegas Aces star, was released to the public Tuesday and went out of stock on the company's website within minutes.

Anticipation started to build from the moment Nike announced in May 2024 that Wilson was getting her own signature line.

Across the entire apparel landscape, the lack of representation of women's basketball players had been a sore point for fans. Twenty years had passed between the last iteration of the Nike Air Swoopes and Puma unveiling its shoe for Breanna Stewart in 2022.

With Wilson specifically, there was a level of frustration about how Nike was bypassing a multiple-time MVP and WNBA champion for players with lesser on-court résumés.

That all helps to explain why the A'Ones were such a hot seller from the jump.

Rest assured, the restocks and different colorways will be coming. The "Indigo Girl" and "OG Pearl" will drop May 15.

That's two days before Wilson and the Aces tip off the 2025 WNBA season against the reigning champion New York Liberty.

Despite the best efforts of its 6'4" center, who averaged 26.9 points and 11.9 rebounds en route to a third MVP, Las Vegas lost to New York in four games in the semifinals.

After replacing Kelsey Plum with Jewell Loyd in the backcourt, the Aces are once again shaping up to be a title contender as long as Wilson stays healthy.
