Livvy Dunne Responds to Criticism of Viral 'Riders Up' Kentucky Oaks Video
Influencer, model and former LSU gymnast Livvy Dunne has responded to criticism of her introduction to the Kentucky Oaks race via TikTok (h/t Jenna Lemoncelli of the New York Post).
One user said the introduction was a "tough watch," to which Dunne replied: “I couldn’t hear myself because of the echo of the microphone 😭."
Another TikTok user asked, “Why are people so mean to you?” To which Dunne said, "yes."
The Kentucky Oaks is the United States' top race for three-year-old fillies. It's a $1.5 million, Grade 1 stakes race held each year on the day before the Kentucky Derby.
On Friday, Good Cheer won by two-and-one-quarter lengths over Drexel Hill. That marks seven-of-seven wins for the filly, including three this year. Good Cheer was a massive 6-5 favorite going in, per Ryan Black of the Louisville Courier Journal. Bless the Broken took third.
