Jets' Cole Perfetti Scores Latest Game-Tying Goal in a Game 7 in NHL History
Cole Perfetti kept the Winnipeg Jets' 2024-25 season alive with a miraculous late goal against the St. Louis Blues in Game 7 on Sunday.
With the Jets trailing 3-2, Perfetti found the back of the net following an impressive play from Nikolaj Ehlers and Kyle Connor that set a new record for the latest game-tying goal in Game 7 of the Stanley Cup playoffs.

Winnipeg and St. Louis subsequently entered overtime tied 3-3.
With the finish, Perfetti recorded his second goal of the game. His other score came on a power play in the second period after St. Louis took a 2-0 lead into the first intermission.
Winnipeg also faced a 3-1 deficit and pulled goaltender Connor Hellebuyck as the third period started to wind down, but it had some life after Vladislav Namestnikov scored a goal of his own at the 18:05 mark of the period.
The Jets are attempting to avoid a third consecutive first-round playoff elimination. They took a 3-2 series lead over the Blues with a Game 5 victory, but couldn't close out the series as they suffered a 5-2 defeat in Game 6 at the Enterprise Center on Friday.
Perfetti finished the regular season with 18 goals to go along with 32 assists in 82 games, but none were more impactful than his last-second score on Sunday night.
Winnipeg ultimately won the game in double overtime to advance to the second round, setting up a showdown with the Dallas Stars.
