Patrick Mahomes' Half-Brother Graham Walker Gets Chiefs Rookie Minicamp Tryout
Patrick Mahomes' half-brother is vying for a spot in the NFL alongside the Kansas City Chiefs star quarterback.
Per Arrowhead Pride's John Dixon, Graham Walker, who shares a father with Mahomes, received a tryout to the Chiefs' rookie minicamp. There are 87 players total participating in the camp, including those drafted by the team and undrafted free agents. Walker is among the 60 hoping to land a contract with this tryout.
Walker, a 6'3", 227-pound tight end, spent the first three seasons of his collegiate career at Brown before playing for Rice in 2024. He compiled 1,465 yards and 15 touchdowns while playing wide receiver with the Bears before switching to a tight end role and recording 252 receiving yards last season with the Owls.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The best season of his career came when he recorded 658 receiving yards and six touchdowns as a freshman in 2021.
According to Clayton Trutor of Seven Days in Vermont, Walker is represented by Equity Sports, the same agency that represents Mahomes. Walker also works out alongside Mahomes and other NFL players at APEC in Fort Worth, Texas.
Mahomes and Walker grew up in different states, with Mahomes being raised in Texas by his father and mother, and Walker growing up in Vermont, being raised by his mother, Jessamyn Walker, and stepfather, Gerry Howatt.
To make Kansas City's roster, Graham will have to prove himself among other talented rookies while also proving that he belongs in a talented tight end room that features veteran star Travis Kelce.
Walker will be surrounded by a sea of rookies hoping to leave a good impression on the Chiefs, but he at least has a slight edge over others since he comes from the same family as the quarterback who has delivered three Super Bowls to Kansas City.
