Rodgers also met up with several of his former teammates, including Randall Cobb, Davante Adams, Jimmy Graham, AJ Hawk, Corey Linsley and David Bakhtiari at the Barnstable Brown Derby Eve Gala on Friday night (h/t USA Today's Ray Padilla).
The four-time MVP has discussed a potential contract to join the Pittsburgh Steelers, with head coach Mike Tomlin revealing that both sides had "really productive" negotiations on April 26.
His potential fit with the Steelers makes sense, as they're looking to clinch a third straight playoff berth in 2025. The only quarterbacks on their roster are backups Mason Rudolph and Skylar Thompson as well as 2025 sixth-round draft pick Will Howard, though.
Rodgers was released by the New York Jets at the end of the 2024 season, failing to exceed expectations during his brief tenure with the team.
He completed 63 percent of his throws for 3,897 yards and 28 touchdowns compared to 11 interceptions in 17 starts last year, but his 48.0 QBR ranked No. 25 among 32 qualified quarterbacks.
