Friday Results

Saturday Schedule

St. Louis Blues 5, Winnipeg Jets 2
Philip Broberg opened the scoring by recording a goal with roughly 14 minutes left in the first period, as the Jets chose not to challenge a potential goalie interference.
The score remained the same entering the second period, but Winnipeg appeared to be gaining momentum towards possibly closing out the series after Cole Perfetti found the back of the net on a power play to tie the game.
It was the first playoff goal of Perfetti's career.
The excitement for the Jets was short-lived, though.
Nathan Walker, Brayden Schenn, Cam Fowler, and Alexey Toropchenko all ended up scoring for St. Louis before the end of the period to take a commanding 5-1 lead into the second intermission.
After racking up two goals in Game 5, Walker scored again off a slick feed from Broberg.
Less than a minute later, Schenn scored a goal that was assisted by Ryan Suter.
Toropchenko eventually got in on the action and put a shot past Connor Hellebuyck to blow the game open.
Hellebuyck didn't last the rest of the game, as he was pulled for the third time in the series.
The Jets scored with a finish by Nino Niederreiter during a power play in the third period, but they weren't able to close the gap any further and the Blues cruised to a win.
Game 7 will be on Sunday at 7 p.m. ET.
