Wild vs. Golden Knights Betting Odds, Player Props and Picks for April 29

The Minnesota Wild and Vegas Golden Knights haven’t been front and center in the Western Conference spotlight through four games. 

However, their series has been as entertaining as the Edmonton-Los Angeles and Colorado-Dallas series at the top of the marquee. 

Twenty-seven goals were scored in the first four games and more tallies are on the menu at T-Mobile Arena on Tuesday night. 

Jack Eichel Over 2.5 Shots On Goal (-142) 

Jack Eichel played his way into the series in Minnesota. 

Vegas’ superstar left home ice with no goals and just two shots on goal from Games 1 and 2. 

In St. Paul, the 28-year-old recorded his first point of the series and put nine shots on net. 

Eichel turned a corner against the Wild’s defense in those games and he needs to rip more pucks on net in Game 5 with Vegas back at home.

Simply put, the Golden Knights need their best forward to be active all night in the offensive zone to leave the ice with a 3-2 series advantage.

Jake Middleton Over 2.5 Blocks (+105) 

All of the momentum seems to be on Vegas’ side going into Game 5. 

The Golden Knights captured Game 4 in overtime and are back home in The Fortress on Tuesday, so you’d expect them to come out fast and send a ton of shots toward the Minnesota net. 

Not all of the shots will get through to Filip Gustavsson because of Jake Middleton and the other Wild defenders. Middleton was Minnesota’s primary shot blocker in Games 3 and 4 with 10 blocks. 

Gustavsson made 72 saves in Games 3 and 4, and if Vegas shoots at that same volume in Game 5, Middleton will have plenty of shot-blocking opportunities. 

Over 5.5 (-125) 

The Over 5.5 is 4-0 in the Wild-Golden Knights series. 

Game 5 appears to be Vegas’ to lose because of the home ice and the Game 4 win, but you can never count out the Wild with Kirill Kaprizov, Matt Boldy and Joel Eriksson Ek on the ice at a high volume. 

Kaprizov and Boldy have 14 points combined, and the line with them and Eriksson Ek features the only three Wild forwards that have played over 80 minutes in the series. 

Vegas is averaging 34.2 shots on goal per game in the series, and although it has only scored 12 goals, Gustavsson has allowed multiple goals in every game. 

Adin Hill only has a .854 save percentage in the Vegas net, and the Wild haven’t been held under three goals since Game 1.
