Steelers 2025 NFL Schedule Released After DK Metcalf, George Pickens Trades
The Pittsburgh Steelers' schedule has been set.
The Steelers still have plenty of roster questions to answer this summer, but are hoping the addition of former Seattle Seahawks star DK Metcalf will help this team make up for the absence of George Pickens and contend with the Baltimore Ravens for the top of the AFC North.

Analysis
The AFC North is full of question marks heading into the 2025 season.
The Cincinnati Bengals have yet to reach a resolution on a contract for star defensive end Trey Hendrickson.
The Bengals still have Joe Burrow, who led the NFL with 4,918 passing yards and 43 passing touchdowns in a 2024 campaign that could have earned him a higher finish in MVP voting in front of a stronger team.
The Cleveland Browns have added four quarterbacks this offseason, including former Steelers signal caller Kenny Pickett, veteran Joe Flacco and 2025 draft picks Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders, but have yet to settle on a QB1 to step in for an injured Deshaun Watson.
The Steelers similarly have yet to settle on a QB1 amid their stalled pursuit of Aaron Rodgers.
The Baltimore Ravens are on track to remain the most difficult team to beat in the division after Lamar Jackson put up a second straight MVP-caliber campaign under center last season.
After the Ravens ended the Steelers' hopes of ending the franchise's playoff win drought in the Wild Card round of the 2024 postseason, taking on this team next fall will present a test as to whether the Steelers are ready to go farther next spring.
The Steelers are also taking on the AFC East, led by reigning NFL MVP Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills. The franchise could encounter another former Steelers quarterback when taking on Justin Fields and the New York Jets.
The team will travel to face the New England Patriots in what has historically been a tough road matchup for the Steelers, who have gone 1-6 in Foxborough since 2002.
Pittsburgh is also slated for matchups with the NFC North, led by the Minnesota Vikings, Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions as the strongest division in the NFL last season. The Chicago Bears could also be slated to become a stronger opponent as the franchise builds around Caleb Williams in his second NFL season.
The Steelers are also taking on the Indianapolis Colts, Los Angeles Chargers and Seattle Seahawks. Pittsburgh's 2025 opponents overall posted a .523 winning percentage last season.
