Bills GM Beane Blasts Critics, 'B---hing' About WRs Is 'One of the Dumbest Arguments'
Buffalo Bills general manager Brandon Beane fired back at criticism regarding the team's wide receiver room entering the 2025 season.
"B---hing about wide receiver is one of the dumbest arguments I’ve heard," Beane said during a radio appearance on WGR 550's Jeremy and Joe Show.

The Bills didn't select a wide receiver in the 2025 NFL draft until the seventh round, taking Maryland's Kaden Prather with the No. 240 overall pick.
Beane also detailed the team's offensive success throughout the 2024 season without an elite No. 1 receiver.
"We just scored 30 points in a row for eight straight games," Beane said during his radio appearance. "A year ago, I get you guys asking why we didn't have receivers, but I don't understand it now. You just saw us lead the league in points, when you add all the postseason [points], no one scored more points than the Buffalo Bills, including the Super Bowl champions."
Buffalo finished with a 13-4 record and advanced to the AFC Championship Game during its 2024 campaign despite trading star wideout Stefon Diggs to the Houston Texans in the prior offseason.
The Bills' scoring average of 30.9 points per game ranked No. 2 in the NFL during the regular season, while quarterback Josh Allen earned MVP honors.
Buffalo signed former Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Joshua Palmer to a three-year contract worth $36 million in free agency, but it'll mostly rely on internal improvements at the position.
Khalil Shakir led the Bills with 821 receiving yards last season and was handed a four-year extension on Feb. 25. Buffalo will also be counting on a sophomore leap from Keon Coleman, who caught 29 passes for 556 yards and four scores as a rookie in 2024.
While the Bills may not have added to their receiving corps early in the draft, Beane doesn't believe that there are any issues with the group entering training camp.
