Unedited Video of NFL Fan Pranking Shedeur Sanders as Saints' Mickey Loomis Released

Shedeur Sanders was at least able to laugh through things as he waited for a team to select him in the 2025 NFL draft.

In a new YouTube video posted by his brother's production company (starts at 11:20 mark), the unedited footage of Sanders being pranked called by a fan pretending to be New Orleans Saints general manager Mickey Loomis was released.

Later in the video (14:40 and 16:30 mark), Sanders noted nobody in the NFL had his number except coaches to avoid that exact scenario and there's no point in getting mad because prank callers "want you to have a certain type of reaction to it."

The prank call happened live online because Sanders was streaming on Twitch when his phone rang. The caller identifies themselves as Loomis, with Sanders saying "been waiting on you."

It ends with the caller telling Sanders he will "have to wait a little longer" before hanging up. Sanders is confused in the moment, asking "what does that mean" to the people at his house.

The situation was embarrassing and meant to humiliate Sanders. He seemed to handle it well after figuring out that he had been pranked.

Sanders was eventually selected with the 144th overall selection by the Cleveland Browns. After the pick, head coach Kevin Stefanski commented on the prank call, calling it "sad."

With Sanders finally on an NFL roster, he'll work towards hopefully making the prank call a footnote in one of the more noteworthy NFL draft storylines of all time.
