Giants GM's Son Posts Jaxson Dart Video After Going Viral for 2024 Jayden Daniels Take
The son of New York Giants' general manager Joe Schoen, Carson, went viral last offseason when he said on Hard Knocks: Offseason that his dad should trade up to draft Jayden Daniels.
The Washington Commanders stayed put and drafted Daniels instead, and the rest is history—they made the playoffs and Daniels was the Offensive Rookie of the Year.
This offseason, Carson Schoen has hinted that he wants a different quarterback for the Giants—Jaxson Dart.
The likelihood—and certainly the hope for fans in the Big Apple—is that the Giants would trade back into the first round if they are seeking a quarterback and take either Travis Hunter or Abdul Carter at No. 3.
And there have been a number of rumors and projections that they might do just that on Thursday:
ESPN's Peter Schrager also projected the Giants to trade back into the first round in his latest mock, albeit at No. 26 with the Los Angeles Rams.
And The Athletic's Dianna Russini reported Wednesday that the Giants "want to be ready for anything—including the possibility of drafting a non-quarterback at No. 3 and then trading back into the first round later to grab 'their guy' at quarterback."
Granted, that guy could be Shedeur Sanders, and not Dart. But we know who Carson Schoen would prefer.
