Cody Rhodes, Liv Morgan and All 2025 WWE Slammy Awards Winners

For the second year in a row, Cody Rhodes was recognized by fans as the best male performer in WWE.

Ahead of his Undisputed WWE Championship defense against John Cena on Night 2 of WrestleMania 41, Rhodes was named the Male Superstar of the Year in the 2025 WWE Slammys: The Fans Choice Awards.

The American Nightmare, who also won the award in 2024, beat out Roman Reigns, Gunther, CM Punk, Damian Priest, Drew McIntyre and Seth Rollins in the fan voting.

Liv Morgan, who will be teaming with Raquel Gonzalez to defend the Women's Tag Team Championships on Sunday, was named Female Superstar of the Year.

Rhodes' yearlong run as champion since defeating Roman Reigns at WrestleMania XL has produced many memorable moments. He had an instant classic against AJ Styles at Backlash France and later engaged with Kevin Owens in a lengthy, emotional rivalry that pushed him to the limits.

Rhodes' star power grew so much that Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson propositioned him for "his soul." When Rhodes denied him, it led to one of the most surprising moments in recent memory as Cena turned heel for the first time since 2003 and aligned himself with The Rock.

When he meets Rhodes in the ring, Cena will be attempting to break a tie with Ric Flair for the all-time record by winning his 17th world championship. Sunday's main event will be a historic showdown between the current face of the company and the Superstar who once held that mantle.
