Sol Ruca Wins NXT Women's NA Title Ladder Match at Stand & Deliver

Sol Ruca prevailed in the six-woman ladder match at NXT Stand & Deliver on Saturday to win the vacant NXT Women's North American Championship.

Ruca outlasted five of the best Superstars the NXT women's division has to offer to win gold, defeating Zaria, Kelani Jordan, Lola Vice, Izzi Dame and Thea Hail.

The finish saw Ruca hit a trio of Sol Snatchers, starting with one to Dame off the ladder. She then used the ropes to hit both Vice and Hail with the move. With all five of her opponents laid out, Ruca climbed the ladder to win the championship.

Last month at Roadblock, Stephanie Vaquer beat Giulia in a title vs. title match to retain the NXT Women's North American Championship and win the NXT Women's Championship.

While Vaquer held both titles for a short period of time, she ultimately decided to vacate the North American title in order to focus on being NXT women's champion, which created an opportunity for the rest of the division.

NXT general manager Ava announced that a ladder match would be held at Stand & Deliver to crown a new women's North American champ, and a series of qualifying matches took place to determine the field.

To qualify for the ladder match, Zaria beat Lash Legend, Jordan defeated Roxanne Perez, Ruca took down Jazmyn Nyx, Dame got past Wren Sinclair, Vice triumphed over Tatum Paxley and Hail got the better of Karmen Petrovic.

One year after the concept of the Women's North American Championship was announced for the first time at Stand & Deliver 2025, the title was on the line in a prime match Saturday.

Of the six participants, five had never held a singles title in NXT before, meaning a true breakout moment was there to be seized at the biggest NXT event of the year.

That was the case for Ruca, who finally managed to secure championship gold after falling just short on previous occasions.

With her victory, Ruca is now solidified as one of the top women's Superstars in NXT, and holding the Women's North American Championship could ultimately serve as a stepping stone for the NXT women's title.
