Finn Balor Must Be Booked for WWE Battleground 2015 PPV

Finn Balor is the new NXT champion, and after having climbed the ladder in WWE's developmental system, he's ready for the bigger stage.  While his ascension to the main roster could actually be months away, he should be seen as soon as possible and preferably at WWE's upcoming Battleground event.

Balor is known throughout the wrestling business, and for fans who have followed him over the years, his move to WWE was a long time coming.  Balor has always been a technician in the ring, able to hold his own against some of the best talents in the world.

But perhaps more important than his ability in the ring is his penchant for theatrics.

Balor's demon persona transforms him from a promising newcomer to an enigmatic creature, a being born of intensity and darkness.  When the demon is present, Balor cannot lose, as he is able to tap into some otherworldly power to win.

It's a tool Balor employed many times during the course of his career, as he has often used paint and costumes to inhabit different personalities.  This cosplay gave him a unique niche during his indie career, and it has served him very well during his run thus far in NXT.

WWE's developmental brand is the perfect place for Balor, as he is able to work to the company's style and can show off his flair for the dramatic.  There is no pressure on him right now, as the crowds he is expected to win over dwarf in size compared to that of Raw and SmackDown.

But as his star rises, so too do expectations.  Balor now has an important piece of hardware around his waist, and that hardware is just the first step for him as he makes his way in WWE.  He has the look to grab the fans' attention, and now he has the belt to elevate him in their eyes.

His moment to shine is now, and it could not come at a better time.

As the NXT talent becomes more assimilated into the main roster, fans should expect to see it on a more frequent basis.  Neville is making waves already, Sami Zayn has worked John Cena on Raw, and Owens seems primed to become the company's new top heel.

Brand awareness is at an all-time high.  The time for WWE to strike with Balor is now.

The crowds have been accepting of the NXT stars, and it has just been a matter of time until Balor joins the flow.  He has the ability to impress, he has the flash to keep fan interest, and if he's booked at Battleground, he will give a great glimpse into WWE's future.
