ISU World Figure Skating Championships Results for Men's Free Skate, Ice Dance Events

The 2025 ISU World Figure Skating Championships wrapped up on Saturday, with Ilia Malinin, the Quad God, repeating as world champion in the men’s free skate at TD Garden in Boston.

The 20-year-old landed six quadruple jumps to claim his second straight world title, earning a total score of 318.56 points, more than 31 points ahead of second-place finisher Mikhail Shaidorov of Kazakhstan, who took silver. Japan’s Yuma Kagiyama secured the bronze.

In Ice Dance, the United States' Madison Chock and Evan Bates clinched their third consecutive world championship gold medal after receiving 90.18 points in the rhythm dance portion and 131.88 points in the free dance, totaling 222.06 points.

Chock and Bates are the first couple to win three consecutive world championships since Oksana Grishuk and Evgeni Platov of Russia did so from 1994 to 1997.

Canada’s Piper Gilles and Paul Poirier took silver with 216.54 points and Great Britain’s Lilah Fear and Lewis Gibson took bronze with 207.11.
