Saints Reportedly Met with Ashton Jeanty, 'Looking Hard' at RBs Ahead of NFL Draft
The New Orleans Saints met with Ashton Jeanty at Boise State's pro day, according to Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football.
Underhill also reported that the Saints are "looking hard" at running backs in the 2025 NFL draft, including Georgia's Trevor Etienne and Tennessee's Dylan Sampson.

Final Consensus NFL Mock Draft 📝
New Orleans owns the No. 9 overall pick in the 2025 draft.
The Saints wrapped up a 2024 season in which they finished with a 5-12 record and averaged 19.9 points on a weekly basis, representing the ninth-worst scoring offense in the NFL.
While five-time Pro Bowl running back Alvin Kamara rushed for a career-high 950 yards and amassed 1,493 all-purpose yards, he'll be 30 years old at the start of the 2025 season and New Orleans could draft his successor early in the first round.
Jeanty already appears to be forming bonds with the Saints' staff, revealing that he had dinner with running backs coach Joel Thomas prior to his pro day.
"I had dinner with the running backs coach last night," Jeanty told KTVB's Jay Tust (h/t John Sigler of Saints Wire). "Met with them at the combine. So definitely been in communication with them during the process."
The 21-year-old was dominant throughout his 2024 campaign with the Broncos, leading the country with 2,601 rush yards while averaging 7.0 yards per carry. He also found the end zone 30 times.
Jeanty was projected to head to the Chicago Bears with the No. 10 overall pick in the latest mock draft from Bleacher Report's NFL Scouting Department, while the Saints added Michigan cornerback Will Johnson at No. 9.
As New Orleans attempts to provide a spark to its offense under new head coach Kellen Moore, Jeanty appears to be on the team's radar.
