Jaguars' Hypothetical Alvin Kamara Trade Offer
Dart completed 69.3 percent of his passes for 4,279 yards and 29 touchdowns (six interceptions) last year. He also rushed for 495 yards and three scores.
The Browns and Giants are both in need of long-term quarterback solutions. It appears likely that both teams will miss out on Miami's Cam Ward, who's largely considered QB1 in this draft and seems destined for the Tennessee Titans at No. 1 overall.
Per the B/R NFL Scouting Department, Dart is QB4 in this draft and the No. 58 overall prospect. The consensus big board from NFL Mock Draft Database is more bullish on Dart, who's 32nd overall and third on the QB list.
Both teams could potentially be in the mix for Colorado's Shedeur Sanders, widely considered the second-best quarterback prospect. Failing that, Dart could certainly be an option for both, most likely on Day 2 or perhaps via a trade up the second round into the back end of the first.
So it's no surprise that Cleveland and New York are doing their homework on Dart, but other teams could certainly be in the mix as well. Dart is an impressive prospect who put up good passing numbers in the SEC, and that has certainly got teams' attention.
We'll see where he lands soon enough, with the draft beginning from Green Bay on April 25.
