WWE NXT: Full Preview, Match Card and More for July 8
Welcome to Bleacher Report's preview for this week's episode of WWE NXT, where we take a spoiler-free look at what's in store for the developmental brand's upcoming episode.
This will be one of the lightest cards in the history of the show, with just three matches scheduled to take place, but there might be a good reason for that.
WWE held an event in Tokyo called The Beast in the East last Saturday, and during the show, Finn Balor won the NXT Championship from Kevin Owens. It's possible the match will be shown in its entirety to fill up the rest of the time.

Takeaways From SNME 44 ➡️
Let's take a look at what's on tap for this week's NXT.
The Tag Teams
Each division will be represented with one match during the show. The tag teams will feature The Vaudevillains going against Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady.
This will be the first time these two teams have faced each other in almost a year, and the outcome could have serious repercussions for Wesley Blake and Buddy Murphy.
Murphy and Blake still need challengers for the tag titles at the next live special taking place on August 22, and whoever wins this bout could find themselves challenging the champions.
This will be a great contest, as both teams have proved themselves to be very competent between the ropes. With Carmella at ringside, Amore and Cassady have a slight advantage, but Simon Gotch and Aiden English will not go down without a fight.
The Men
The only singles match set for Wednesday's show will see Marcus Louis battle Solomon Crowe. Both men could really benefit from a win in this one.
Louis has been struggling to find success ever since he broke up with his former tag team partner, Sylvester Lefort.
Crowe also needs a win to gain some momentum. He was pushed with several video packages before his initial debut, but ever since then he hasn't had many victories.
Whoever wins this match could be in line for a push in the near future, and with several talents who have either been called up to the main roster or are out with injuries, NXT needs to start building new talents as soon as possible.
The Women
The women of NXT will be well-represented when Sasha Banks teams up with former bestie Charlotte to take on Emma and Dana Brooke.
Emma and Brooke have been running over most of the women's division in recent weeks but will have their work cut out for them with the current and former women's champions.
It will be interesting to see if Banks and Charlotte can work together long enough to win the match, or if their previous issues will cause any problems.
Emma and Brooke have been on a roll lately, but a victory over these two women would give them a lot more momentum than beating jobbers and people who haven't had any success. It should be a good match no matter who wins.
This show is very light in terms of matches, so the show's ultimate value will depend on how the company decides to fill the rest of the time.
