Billy Horschel, Atlanta Drive Beat New York Golf Club to Win TGL Playoffs Bracket 2025

The Atlanta Drive (Billy Horschel, Justin Thomas, Patrick Cantlay) are your inaugural TGL champions, beating New York (Xander Schauffele, Rickie Fowler, Cameron Young) 4-3 on Tuesday night.

And it took quite the dramatic comeback to pull it off.

After winning the first match of the best-of-three SoFi Cup on Monday night, 6-5, the Drive found themselves facing a 3-0 deficit after 10 holes in the second match.

New York won No. 8 to take a 1-0 lead, and doubled the lead on No. 9 when Xander Schauffele threw a late hammer, it stood after review and Atlanta forfeited the hole.

Schauffele than beat Thomas on No. 10 to expand the lead to 3-0.

And that's where the fun began.

Atlanta used the hammer on both Nos. 12 and 13 and New York conceded both, pulling the Drive's deficit to just 3-2. Atlanta then used its final hammer on No. 14, New York accepted, and Horschel hit the putt of the season:

The two sides then tied on No. 15 and it was over, handing Atlanta the first SoFi Cup title and a $9 million prize to go along with it.
