Cam Ward Dazzles Fans at Miami Pro Day Amid Titans, NFL Draft Rumors
Cam Ward, one of the favorites to be the No. 1 overall pick at this year's NFL draft, worked out a Miami's pro day on Monday.
And he certainly impressed in the throwing drills:

It was a packed house to see Ward, who got an early start on the day.
He also received some effusive praise from his head coach at Miami, Mario Cristobal.
"The bigger the moment, the better he gets," he said during an interview on NFL Network. "The harder it gets, the better he plays. I've learned that he has a knack for galvanizing people, pushing them and getting the best out of them. His relentless work ethic, it's unmatched. I mean he's up at 5:30 a.m., rounding his guys up, bring himself up there and watch extra film, put in extra time with the coaches."
Overall, the consensus take was that Ward had a very strong pro day, perhaps solidifying his place as the No. 1 overall selection:
What a player does against air isn't necessarily a great indicator of what they'll do against 11 NFL-caliber players, of course, but Ward was fantastic in 2024, throwing for 4,313 yards, 39 touchdowns and seven interceptions while completing 67.2 percent of his passes. He also rushed for 204 yards and four scores.
Ward did little to dissuade potential suitors on Monday. If the Tennessee Titans were leaning toward drafting him at No. 1 overall before his pro day, they still are.
