NFL Coach: Stefon Diggs 'A Warmer Person Than The Stigma That Follows Him'
Stefon Diggs has earned a reputation as perhaps being a bit of a diva after wearing out his welcome with both the Minnesota Vikings and Buffalo Bills during his career.
That viewpoint isn't universally shared, however.
As ESPN's Mike Reiss reported on Sunday, "One coach who worked closely with Diggs told ESPN he is one of his all-time favorites because he 'loves football, practices hard and with purpose, and wants to be coached,' adding that 'he's a warmer person than the stigma that follows him.'"

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The report comes in the wake of the New England Patriots hosting Diggs for a visit last week. There are questions about the veteran wide receiver that go beyond his personality—he's 31 years old and coming off a torn ACL, after all—but the Patriots in particular are starved for playmakers and would make sense as suitors.
In his prime, Diggs was a four-time Pro Bowler and a one-time first-team All-Pro selection who had six straight seasons exceeding 1,000 receiving yards between 2018-23. Last year's ACL injury cut the streak short, though Diggs was just barely on pace to extend it before his injury, catching 47 passes for 496 yards and three touchdowns in eight games as Houston's No. 2 option behind Nico Collins.
In New England, he'd likely be WR1, though the team has to decide if he's a right fit, both on the field and within the culture that new head coach Mike Vrabel is trying to instill.
