Shedeur Sanders to Giants, Jaxson Dart to Jets in Chad Reuter's 2025 NFL Mock Draft
The New York Giants and New York Jets were both projected to add quarterbacks in the first round of the latest 2025 NFL mock draft from NFL.com's Chad Reuter.
The Giants selected Colorado's Shedeur Sanders with the No. 3 overall pick in Reuter's mock, while the Jets added Ole Miss signal-caller Jaxson Dart at No. 7.
Sanders was viewed as a fit with the Giants due to his anticipation in the pocket as well as his ability to handle playing in a large market due to the publicity he attracted as a member of the Buffaloes.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
"The Giants have lacked a true leader at the quarterback position for years; Sanders works to make his teammates better and knows what it means to play under the spotlight," Reuter wrote.
As for the Jets, Dart would likely be viewed as competition for free-agent acquisition Justin Fields to become the team's starting quarterback in 2025.
"In this simulation, the Jets appreciate Dart's physical traits and work ethic, hoping that he or Fields will step up in a leadership role during 2025 and end the league's longest playoff drought," Reuter wrote.
Sanders is coming off an impressive senior season at Colorado in 2024, leading the Big 12 with 4,134 passing yards and 37 touchdowns through the air. He was also picked off just 10 times.
The Giants have been linked to Sanders throughout the pre-draft process.
Dart similarly wrapped up the best year of his college career last season, showcasing his efficiency both in and out of the pocket with the Rebels. He completed 69.3 percent of his throws for 4,279 yards and 29 touchdowns compared to six interceptions.
In the most recent mock draft from Bleacher Report's NFL Scouting Department, the Giants were projected to add Colorado two-way standout Travis Hunter at No. 3 with Sanders already off the board. Meanwhile, the Jets selected Missouri tackle Armand Membou.
Both New York teams could have their sights set on a quarterback once the first round of the 2025 draft begins on April 24.
