Wimbledon 2015: Wednesday All England Club Schedule and Bracket Predictions
No one is going to stop Serena Williams at Wimbledon this year. On Tuesday, Williams shook off what might have been her last serious test en route to a fourth straight Grand Slam title when she stopped Victoria Azarenka 3-6, 6-2, 6-3.
The win gave Williams a spot in the semifinals against longtime foe Maria Sharapova. The latter disposed of unseeded American Coco Vandeweghe in straight sets on Tuesday, 6-3, 6-7 (3-7), 6-2. It goes without saying, Sharapova hasn't had much success against Williams in their career meetings.
Williams is 17-2 against Sharapova in her career and has won 16 straight matches against the Russian. ESPN Stats and Info's tweet shows that most of Williams' wins over Sharapova haven't even been close:

Will Thursday's meeting be any different? No.
There's three things in life that are guaranteed: death, taxes and Williams beating Sharapova. Bank on Williams punching her ticket into the finals.

In the other women's quarterfinals, No. 20 Garbine Muguruza took down No. 15 Timea Bacsinszky in straight sets 7-5, 6-3, and No. 13 Agnieszka Radwanska bested No. 21 Madison Keys 7-6 (7-3), 3-6, 6-3. Radwanska and Muguruza will play on Thursday to determine who goes on to play in the final.
Radwanska has seemingly regained her mojo after playing poorly early in the year. She has more Grand Slam experience and should be able to knock off Muguruza. A berth in the finals will have to do, as Williams will be waiting to squash her there. Here's a look at the updated bracket predictions for the men's and women's draws.
| Quarterfinals | Semifinals | Finals | Champion |
| No. 1 Novak Djokovic vs. No. 9 Marin Cilic | Djokovic | ||
| No. 4 Stan Wawrinka vs. No. 21 Richard Gasquet | Wawrinka | Wawrinka | |
| Vasek Pospisil vs. No. 3 Andy Murray | Murray | Federer | |
| No. 12 Gilles Simon vs. No. 2 Roger Federer | Federer | Federer | |
| Semifinals | Finals | Champion | |
| No. 1 Serena Williams vs. no. 4 Maria Sharapova | Williams | Williams | |
| No. 20 Garbine Muguruza vs. No. 13 Agnieszka Radwanska | Radwanska |
In the only men's match on Tuesday, Novak Djokovic and Kevin Anderson resumed their fourth-round match from Monday. Djokovic completed his comeback, as he captured the win 6-7 (6-8), 6-7 (6-8), 6-1, 6-4, 7-5.
After dropping the first two sets in tiebreakers, Djokovic rallied to win the next two frames easily on Monday. Darkness forced the match to be suspended, and Djokovic finished off his South African opponent on Tuesday. The win set up a match with No. 9 Marin Cilic on Wednesday. Play begins at 8 a.m. ET. For all the talk about Williams' dominance against Sharapova, there might not be enough attention paid to the way Djokovic has handled Cilic in his career. The Serbian is a perfect 12-0 against Cilic. The latter did push Djokovic to five sets when the two met at Wimbledon last year, but Djokovic prevailed 6-1 3-6 6-7 (7-4) 6-2 6-2 en route to his championship.
Expect another Djokovic win here as well. Cilic has already been extended to five sets twice up to this point in the tournament. Djokovic will have better legs despite having his fourth-round match carry over.
It would be a shock if any of the lower seeds pull upsets on the men's side. No. 4 Stan Wawrinka has been playing the best tennis of his life over the last six months. He should control No. 21 Richard Gasquet.
No. 3 Andy Murray is facing an unseeded and unproven Canadian challenger in Vasek Pospisil who hasn't advanced past the second round before this year's run. Pospisil is also coming off a five-set marathon with Viktor Troicki. The chance he has enough in the tank to upset Murray seems far-fetched.
Lastly, Roger Federer has quietly dominated. He's lost just one set in the tournament so far. After losing to Gilles Simon twice in 2008, Federer has beaten him five times in a row. Wednesday should mark the sixth straight victory.
Federer is the smart pick to emerge victorious from the men's draw. He still looks his best on grass and is seemingly benefiting from players such as Djokovic and Murray receiving more attention in this year's tournament.
In the end, it'll be like 2012 all over again with Federer and Williams reigning supreme at the All England Club.
