No. 1 Novak Djokovic vs. No. 9 Marin Cilic

Novak Djokovic needed five sets and two days to conquer Kevin Anderson, who captured the first two sets of their gripping fourth-round showdown. Anderson had the superstar on the brink of elimination in a match that concluded Tuesday after a lack of light suspended play.
Djokovic, who has now made the quarterfinals in each of his last 25 Grand Slam tournaments, nearly suffered his earliest exit since 2009. He looked back knowing he dodged a major bullet, per Wimbledon's official Twitter page.
The No. 1 seed moves on to face Marin Cilic, the highest-ranked participant remaining outside of the top four. Yet Djokovic has never lost to last year's U.S. Open champion, as noted by ESPN Stats & Info:
The 26-year-old Croatian clawed his way this far. After beating Ricardas Berankis in five sets during the second round, he needed more than four hours to top John Isner in a five-set marathon featuring three tiebreakers and a 12-10 final frame.
Both men have labored already, but Djokovic displayed a resounding ability to quickly rebound from a slow start. He has reached the Wimbledon semifinals in each of the last five years, claiming two titles.
No. 3 Andy Murray vs. Vasek Pospisil

Last year, Grigor Dimitrov halted Andy Murray's championship defense in this very round. Now the local favorite will take another swing at winning his second Wimbledon trophy.
Blocking his path, Vasek Pospisil has an opportunity to make a major statement at Murray's expense. The 25-year-old Canadian had never lasted past the third round of a Grand Slam tournament before shining in London.
According to TSN's Mark Masters, he joins a selective list of men from his country to shine at a major showcase:
After dropping the opening two sets to No. 22 Viktor Troicki, Pospisil rallied to extend his unlikely run. The glass slipper likely won't fit against Murray, but there's drama behind a potentially monumental upset.
No. 4 Stan Wawrinka vs. No. 21 Richard Gasquet

Wawrinka continues his invasion into the top tier of men's tennis stars. Once a wildly inconsistent player who followed his first major title with a first-round exit, the 30-year-old has since appeared in five straight quarterfinals.
Yet to drop a set over four rounds, Wawrinka is cruising through the Wimbledon bracket. He did, however, require two tiebreakers to extend that streak against No. 16 David Goffin, his toughest competitor so far.
He'll look to keep rolling against Richard Gasquet, who upset No. 11 Dimitrov during the third round. The 29-year-old Frenchman is searching for his first finals appearance at any Grand Slam event.
They've split their two meetings, with Wawrinka taking their only Grand Slam encounter in five sets at the 2013 French Open. This will mark their first clash on grass, where Gasquet holds his most success with a 67.6 winning percentage, per ATPWorldTour.com.
