Shedeur Sanders Rumors: NFL Teams 'Cooling' on Colorado QB Ahead of 2025 Draft
While Colorado's Shedeur Sanders didn't participate in on-field workouts at the NFL Scouting Combine this weekend, one insider has heard that his draft stock still took a hit.
Tony Pauline of Sportskeeda reported that "teams are cooling on Shedeur Sanders for a number of reasons." Pauline explained that some believe Sanders "showed little to no improvement in his game last season and made some poor choices," while others are "also a little turned off by his antics since January."

It was noted that Sanders was expected to participate in passing drills for the Shrine Bowl but instead only briefly showed up for the first day of practice. He also made some bold claims while speaking to reporters at the combine in Indianapolis.
"You don’t think I can come to an NFL franchise, change the program again? ... I’ve done it over and over and over. There should be no question why a franchise should pick me," Sanders said confidently.
Pauline added that people believe Sanders is less likely to be selected by the New York Giants with the No. 3 pick and "the very earliest he'll come off the board" is No. 6 to the Las Vegas Raiders.
Sanders will have the chance to prove his doubters wrong when he shows his skills at Colorado's yet-to-be-announced pro day later this month.
