Those measurements earned Jeanty instant fan comparisons to Barry Sanders, who led the NFL in rushing yards four times while measuring in at a similar height.
Jeanty didn't work out at the combine, but NFL Network's Stacey Dales reported Saturday that he has been meeting with teams and receiving feedback this week in Indianapolis.
"Some really good feedback that he has gotten from the teams this week: as you can imagine, an exceptional runner. That is one point. Definitely a three-down back," Dales said.
Dales added that Jeanty also shared constructive criticism he has received from teams regarding his blocking and ball-carrying techniques.
Jeanty has reportedly met with teams including the New York Giants, Chicago Bears, Cincinnati Bengals, Las Vegas Raiders and Denver Broncos. He also has a visit scheduled with the Dallas Cowboys.
Bleacher Report's 2025 NFL Draft Big Board ranks Jeanty as the top running back and No. 9 overall prospect available in the upcoming draft. B/R NFL Scout Dame Parson describes him as a "high-volume and playmaking running back" whose game will translate "incredibly well to the NFL."
Given that Jeanty isn't participating in on-field drills at the combine, scouts will have to wait until Boise State's Pro Day to see the running back show off his speed.
