Real Madrid Transfer News: Latest Arturo Vidal, Cristiano Ronaldo Rumours

Real Madrid have denied interest in Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal, while according to the latest rumours Cristiano Ronaldo could be moved on in a sensational transfer.

Starting with Vidal, football reporter Omid Zamani confirmed the news on Twitter:

The Chilean has a long list of admirers after enjoying four excellent years with the Italian champions.

Bleacher Report's Sam Tighe is among them. He believes the midfielder can be valued at a similar fee to Angel Di Maria:

However, Zamani's tweet does not rule out the possibility that Real could line up a move for the highly sought-after 28-year-old in the future.

Vidal's rampaging runs and outstanding work rate would add solidity and directness to Los Blancos' midfield, and at 28, he is still more than capable of providing a number of good years of service.

Vidal is not short of suitors, though, so if Real were going to bid, they had best do it soon.

Cristiano Ronaldo in Shock Paris Saint-Germain Move?

According to Metro, reputable publication France Football are reporting that Real are "actively looking to sell" the Ballon d'Or winner.

The report indicates Ronaldo could be used in a partnership with PSG involving an exchange of a number of players.

The news is something of a shock, given that the Portuguese superstar has enjoyed yet another typically immense season. Ronaldo scored 59 goals and made 19 assists in all competitions and shows no signs of slowing down despite reaching 30.

Further, the forward recently broke media silence to confirm he was happy in Madrid. Per Rob Dawson of the Manchester Evening News, Ronaldo spoke to Portuguese newspaper A Bola. He said:

I'm very happy at the world's biggest and most-supported club and confident that next season will be full of success.

I repeat once again that I'm at the best club in the world and it’s at the best club in the world where I want to start winning again.

I'd sincerely ask to stop with the false news and afford me a little peace. Real Madrid and I are very happy with each other.

A move away from the Bernabeu for the 30-year-old does seem unlikely, particularly to PSG.

While the French side are more than capable of affording Ronaldo's sky-high wages, Ligue 1 is a step down in quality and prestige from La Liga. A player as concerned about his image as Ronaldo is would likely be at least somewhat reluctant to join Les Parisiens.

A more likely destination, should Ronaldo leave, would be Manchester United.

The Premier League is a more fitting stage for his talents, and the move would allow him to rejoin a club where he is greatly beloved and for whom he still holds affection.

However, the Madrid man's comments make staying at the Bernabeu the most likely scenario this summer.

Ronaldo may well leave Real one day, but it's not likely to be in the immediate future.
