Cooper DeJean Reveals Caitlin Clark Text After Super Bowl Pick-6 vs. Mahomes, Chiefs
Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Cooper DeJean said Caitlin Clark sent a text congratulating him after he picked off Patrick Mahomes during a 40-22 win over the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX.
DeJean, who had previously mentioned the text from Clark on the Up & Adams show, gave more details about Clark's text on Tuesday's episode of the Pivot Podcast.
"Us going to Iowa together, I think she's just saying that she was proud of me, congratulating me," DeJean said. "Not only that I scored a touchdown, but winning the biggest game in football my first year.

"So I appreciate her for sending that message, even though she's a Chiefs fan."
The Eagles were leading by 10 points in the second quarter on Feb. 9 when DeJean hauled in an errant pass from Mahomes and took it 38 yards for a touchdown, helping the Eagles build an insurmountable first-half lead.
Clark said on a January appearance on Jason and Travis Kelce's New Heights podcast that she had been a Chiefs fan since childhood.
Despite DeJean playing a key role in Clark's team losing their shot at a historic championship three-peat, it sounds like these two Iowa products are still on good terms after their successful rookie pro seasons.
