WWE head of creative Triple H announced Friday that Michelle McCool will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2025.

McCool and her husband, WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker, appeared on ESPN's Get Up on Friday when Triple H popped up on the video screen and surprised her with the news:

Coincidentally, McCool joins Triple H as a 2025 WWE Hall of Fame inductee after The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels surprised Triple H with the news of his induction a couple of weeks ago.

McCool, 45, signed with WWE in 2004 after competing in the Diva Search competition and later made her debut on the main roster in 2006.

She remained an active competitor until 2011 when she went into semi-retirement, although she has made several appearances for the company since then, including competing in the 2018, 2022 and 2023 women's Royal Rumble matches.

McCool is perhaps best known for her team with Layla known as LayCool, which was formed in 2009 and lasted until 2011.

Together, McCool and Layla dominated what was then known as the Divas division, and they even co-held the Women's Championship at one point.

All told, McCool was a two-time WWE women's champion and two-time Divas champion, making her one of the most-decorated women's wrestlers of her era.

McCool thrived during a time when women were not given the same amount of time or spotlight as their male counterparts, which speaks to her ability as a wrestler and character.

In many ways, McCool helped pave the way for the women's Superstars of today, who are being featured more heavily than ever before.

Along with Triple H, McCool will officially take her place in the WWE Hall of Fame during WrestleMania 41 weekend in Las Vegas in April.
