Miami Dolphins: 2009 NFL Regular Season Schedule Fantasy Football Rankings
The Miami Dolphins 2009 NFL Regular Season Schedule
Last season the Dolphins had a great turn around from the year before and won their division. In the first round of the playoffs they lost at home against the Baltimore Ravens.
This season for the Dolphins to win the division they will need steady play from their secondary. It will also be interesting to see if they can still be effective with the Wildcat offense, now that team are ready for it.
Below are three sections of interest that are worth paying attention to for fantasy owners coming into the season for this team. First we have listed our fantasy players which we believe are worth paying attention to this season.
Next is strength of schedule against the run, pass and points against. Lastly we have a few games selected that will be key in telling how this team will preform for the 2009 season.

Fantasy Players
QB.- Chad Pennington
RB.- Ronnie Brown
RB.- Ricky Williams
WR.-Ted Ginn Jr.
WR.-Davone Bess
TE.- Anthony Fasano
D.- Dolphins
Strength of Schedule
vs Run 8th Hardest Schedule
vs Pass 14th Hardest Schedule
vs Points Given Up Hardest Schedule in Football
This team really received no favors in their schedule this season as last year they had an easy one. This tells me that the Dolphins are probably not likely to make the post season as they should only be a 8-8 ball club.
With that being said, I do believe receivers Ginn and Bess will have good season for fantasy football and at a low price on draft day. Brown should also have a good year as he is in a contract season and has his explosion back.
Games of Interest
Entire Schedule: This season on paper the Dolphins really have no gimme games from week one to week seventeen. If this team is going to be a productive winning group again in 2009, they will have to play sound fundamental football all year long.
I do believe they can play like that on offense consistently but I don't think they will hold up on defense. With a young secondary and an old front line on defense, this team will have problems when their offense can't control the clock.
2009 Football Projection
This season, the Dolphins will probably not make it back to the postseason, but they are still a good team. As long as they resign Ronnie Brown or find a stud to run the ball in free agency, this team should be ready for another playoff run in 2010.
