Barcelona Transfer News: Latest on Paul Pogba and Sergi Roberto Rumours
Barcelona are edging toward the capture of Paul Pogba, but Barca fans will have to wait until next summer for the Frenchman's arrival at the Camp Nou.
According to Sky Sports, via Fox Sports, Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport is reporting that officials from Barcelona and Juventus have met and agreed to a $100 million—over £60 million—deal for Pogba.
The deal would see the 22-year-old spend a final season with the Serie A champions before making the move due to Barca's transfer ban.

Per the above report, Blaugrana presidential candidate Joan Laporta spoke of his admiration for the midfielder on Spanish radio station Cadena Cope and believes Pogba's agent to be the key to finalising the deal. He said:
"The key to his signing is Mino Raiola. It's true that I have a very good relationship with him and I believe that if I become president, Pogba will play at Barcelona.
I think it's fine that the [Barca] management meet with Juve but the one they have to talk to is Raiola, he holds the key.
Pogba is highly sought-after. He has great quality and fits into Barca's style of play.
He costs a lot of money but he is a reference player like Neymar, [Luis] Suarez or Cristiano [Ronaldo], that also cost a lot of money.
"
Pogba is the most wanted man in world football right now, with a host of top clubs clamouring for his signature.
The French international enjoyed his best season yet in Turin, scoring 10 goals and making six assists in all competitions.
With Barcelona unable to field any new players until 2016, a delayed arrival is by far the most realistic outcome should Pogba choose the Camp Nou as his next destination.
The move would also suit Juventus, who get to keep their star asset for another season, which would not be the case if he moved elsewhere.
There has been and will continue to be plenty of speculation surrounding Pogba's future, and more than a little of it wild and unrealistic. However, there could well be some merit here.
Could Sergi Roberto Be on His Way to Stoke City?
Barcelona midfielder Sergi Roberto has been linked with Stoke City, according to Sport.
The 23-year-old has failed to break into Barcelona's first team and made just four starts in La Liga last season.
Stoke have signed Catalan players Bojan Krkic and Marc Muniesa in recent seasons, and Roberto is a promising talent.
Roberto fuelled speculation of a move to Stoke back in December, when he visited his former team-mates.
The midfielder is comfortable in possession and an excellent passer of the ball, as evidenced by his impressive average of 95 per cent accuracy in La Liga last season, per Squawka.
Whether Roberto would fit in at Stoke remains to be seen, however.
Though perhaps not quite as physical as in Tony Pulis' day, Mark Hughes' side remain an aggressive, in-your-face team who are more than willing to put themselves about.
Squawka report Roberto as winning 63 per cent of his headed duels last season, which could offer some hope, but it would take a fairly dramatic change in style for the Spaniard to thrive.
Coupled with many foreign players' needs to adapt to the rigours of the Premier League, it seems unlikely that Roberto would be able to make a positive impact on the Potters' play anytime soon.
