Carlos Bacca Officially Agrees Transfer to AC Milan
Carlos Bacca will ply his trade at AC Milan during the 2015-16 season after his transfer from Sevilla was announced on July 2.
According to David Amoyal, translator for GianlucaDiMarzio.com, the 28-year-old Bacca was Milan's main strike target as they look to build a squad capable of challenging for the Scudetto once more, after finishing 10th in Serie A in 2014-15.
Sevilla boss Unai Emery previously revealed the Rossoneri would have to pay the forward's €30 million (£21 million) release clause in order to secure his signature, per Inside Spanish Football's Tom Conn.
In two seasons at Sevilla, Bacca has scored 34 La Liga goals, and he is in good company when it comes to finishing off chances, per WhoScored.com:
Milan will benefit hugely from adding a player with such finishing quality to their squad as they look to re-establish themselves as a Serie A powerhouse.
