Gary Neville Destroys Liverpool Fan on Twitter over Jamie Carragher Bet

Twitter can at times be a lawless playground where a random fan is given a platform to opine at will and direct said opinions at celebrities who also use the site. 

Every so often, if a celebrity is feeling frisky, they'll check their mentions. 

One Liverpool supporter found this out the hard way—and oh did it burn hot. 

Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher lost a bet to Manchester United legend and Sky Sports colleague Gary Neville about Paulinho's goalscoring exploits, or the lackthereof, and has to wear a United shirt featuring Neville's name as a result. 

It will be a sight that will surely set off the gag reflexes of Liverpool fans. Poor @DTommoLFC warned Carragher of the perils that come with putting on a Manchester United shirt.

Neville, who was watching with a keen eye, decided to let him know that he's always watching and delivered the ultimate burn, reminding him of Liverpool's league-title drought.
