UFC Fight Night 70 was the end of The Machida Era.

Yoel Romero solved the puzzle, and then took Machida down to the mat. As soon as the fight hit the canvas, Romero pelted Machida with elbows that put him out. Referee John McCarthy rescued the former champion from further punishment.

In the co-main event, Lorenz Larkin continued to look outstanding as a welterweight with a TKO over Santiago Ponzinibbio.

Bleacher Report had you covered from start to finish. Check out the full card from the live blog.
