
Nathaniel Clyne Officially Completes Transfer to Liverpool
Nathaniel Clyne completed his move to Liverpool on a long-term dealย on July 1.
The Anfield club confirmed the signing of the 24-year-old from Southampton via their official Twitter.
ESPN FC reported on June 27 Liverpool and Southampton had agreed to aย ยฃ15 million deal that would send the right-back to Anfield. While the transfer won't see the Saints receive all the money up front, they will reach the target price if Clyne meets certain performance milestones.ย

Clyne should be a vast improvement on the now-departed Glen Johnson as Liverpool's right-back, and he joins a list of summer arrivals at Anfield that also includesย Roberto Firmino,ย James Milner andย Danny Ings.
