Price helped lead the Canadiens to a second-place finish in the Eastern Conference with 110 points as they were defeated by the Tampa Bay Lightning in the Eastern Conference Semifinal.
Starting in the middle of January and going into February, Price was unbeatable, winning 14 of 16 games and recording four shutouts. He had nine shutouts on the year, ranking him second in the league.
He made one of the saves of the season in March against the New York Islanders, making a sprawling save on Matt Martin, who had a wide-open look at Price's goal.
Price also went home with the Ted Lindsay Award as the league's most valuable player as voted by the players. He also split the William M. Jennings Trophy with Chicago's Corey Crawford as the goaltender that allowed the least amount of goals in the 2014-15 season. Both Price and Crawford allowed 130 goals in the regular season.
