Joe PantornoJun 24, 2015

Montreal Canadiens goalie Carey Price has won the Vezina Trophy as the NHL's best goaltender at the league's annual award show in Las Vegas.

Price beat out Devan Dubnyk of the Minnesota Wild and Pekka Rinne of the Nashville Predators for the award. It is the first time he has won the Vezina.

That wasn't all for Price. He won three other awards, including the Hart Trophy as the game's most valuable player. It is the first time since 2002 that a goalie has won the award. Another Canadiens netminder, Jose Theodore, was the last to do so.

The other two nominees for the Hart this season were the Washington Capitals' Alex Ovechkin and the New York Islanders' John Tavares.

Here is a list of all of the 2015 NHL award-winners.

The Montreal Canadiens goalie recorded 44 wins with a .933 save percentage and a 1.96 goals-against average, leading the NHL in all of those departments. His save percentage ranks sixth all-time in a single season, and his wins are tied for seventh.

Price helped lead the Canadiens to a second-place finish in the Eastern Conference with 110 points as they were defeated by the Tampa Bay Lightning in the Eastern Conference Semifinal.

Starting in the middle of January and going into February, Price was unbeatable, winning 14 of 16 games and recording four shutouts. He had nine shutouts on the year, ranking him second in the league.

He made one of the saves of the season in March against the New York Islanders, making a sprawling save on Matt Martin, who had a wide-open look at Price's goal.

Price also went home with the Ted Lindsay Award as the league's most valuable player as voted by the players. He also split the William M. Jennings Trophy with Chicago's Corey Crawford as the goaltender that allowed the least amount of goals in the 2014-15 season. Both Price and Crawford allowed 130 goals in the regular season.
