Chelsea Fans Urging Club Not to Sign Radamel Falcao After Copa America Travails

Radamel Falcao is expected to join Chelsea this summer, as the Guardian and others confirm, but it looks like plenty of Blues fans would like Jose Mourinho to reconsider.

The Colombian striker has been one of the world's best in recent years. But since a damaging knee injury, he has failed to reach those same heights.

After a frustrating year on loan at Manchester United, Chelsea seem prepared to give him another chance, but his performances with his national team at this summer's Copa America have been no less disappointing.

The assessment on Twitter has been brutal:

Costa was ineffective at the 2014 World Cup last summer before having a strong season at Chelsea—though you'd suspect Blues fans would prefer that Falcao play well rather than be noteworthy for this dive:
