Los Angeles Kings center Jarret Stoll reached a plea deal on June 25 that sees his felony drug charge dismissed, to be replaced by misdemeanor charges for provoking commission of breach of peace and trespassing, according to ESPN's Katie Strang.
TMZ.com reported the original charges on June 22.
Strang passed along a statement from Stoll:
When he was initially arrested at the MGM Grand hotel's Wet Republic, Stoll, 33, had 3.3 grams of cocaine on him along with capsules containing the drug Ecstasy. The incident occurred approximately one week after the Kings' season ended, as they failed to qualify for the playoffs after winning the Stanley Cup the prior year.
Stoll had six goals and 11 assists in 73 games played for Los Angeles in 2014-15 and will return to court in Clark County on July 1.
