It started faintly, a few rows of the student section first, followed by more, and then some. The marching band joined in. Soon the chant roared throughout Michigan Stadium.
"Rich Rod-riguez".
Were we cheering for just a man? No. We were cheering for our MICHIGAN MAN. For our MICHIGAN team. For everything this program stands for. For the history and to the future, RR makes that link, and it took us all to Saturday to realize that we are united.

The second cheer from the student section illustrates our unity.
What I learned from the game Saturday is that the NCAA allegations, botched condo deals, banned Clemson booster business, etc. has all only served to galvanize the team, the coaches, and the fans. The team ran out under the "Go Blue" banner with intensity not witnessed last year, with the right balance of heart and anger to play.
Oh, and the new concourses helped to keep the game much louder - that was nice too.
Signs of "In Rod We Trust", and "No More FREEP'n Lies", and "All In For Coach Rod" showed that we are uniting. We have dedicated our hearts, minds, and souls to Michigan football. We have promised to cheer or team with as much might as we possibly can. We have promised to fill the Big House with 100,000+ fans every Saturday. We have promised to dig down for something deep when our team needs it most. We have promised to never stop believing. We have not let our worst season in 130 years deter our aspirations for this year. We have not redefined Michigan football, but are watching it's rebirth. We have become a family, bound by the Maize and Blue.
Why have we done all this?
Simply because, We are ALL IN FOR MICHIGAN.
Oh, and for our final cheer.
