One Thing Is Clear Now: Tate Forcier Is Our Qb For Years To Come

Peter WhiteContributor ISeptember 7, 2009

Following Michigan's Victory over WMU on Saturday one thing was clear to me: Tate Forcier was our man. He showed a great deal of composure and poise and he was mature boyond his years. He did not look like a true freshmen at all.

Another thing on his third touchdown pass he threw it right on the money to junior Hemingway; I mean RIGHT on the money. The way he lead the offense was spectacular and I was very impressed with his accuracy and most importantly his maturity.

He said earlier in the spring when asked after the spring game "Do you get Nervous?"

He replied " No I dont get nervous. Its more of an excitement".

Apparently he didnt show one bit of nervouseness this past game. Now the big test will be on Saturday vs Notre Dame.

So gear up everyone because Saturday will be here before you know it and thats when well find out if Tate and the team will exceed expectations for this year. I beleive from watching Saturday's win over WMU that Michigan has every opprotunity to beat Notre Dame.

One more thing you add Denard Robinson and his world class speed and Tate Forcier with his amazing accuracy and  you have got maybe the best duel threat QB combo in the country.

So watch out Ohio State because if you can't stop Navy and their rushing attack, just wait till you face Michigan at the Big House Nov 21st.
