While many professional athletes stick to Gatorade during games, Atlanta Braves catcher A.J. Pierzynski has no problem drinking beer.

You read that right. He has imbibed at the ballpark.

During an appearance on Sunday's Garbage Time with Katie Nolan, Pierzynski revealed to Nolan that he has been one to drink beer during games. Of course, he admitted it while drinking a beer.

The 18-year veteran catcher admitted that he has played drunk hungover. And when a teammate brings beer to the dugout, he apparently has no choice but to drink it.

In case you're wondering how alcohol affects performance on the field, Pierzynski addressed that, saying it has a variety of results.

This just goes to show that the 2011 Boston Red Sox aren't the only team that enjoys drinking on the clock.
