Manchester United Transfer News: Latest Javier Hernandez, Joao Moutinho Rumours
Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez would love to stay with Real Madrid on a permanent basis, although he'll also accept a transfer to a club that can guarantee him regular football, as he told the Daily Mirror's Neil McLeman and Liam Corless.
Chicharito reportedly missed a deadline to make his loan move to the Bernabeu permanent, and he's now weighing his options. He said:
"Yes, I want to stay at Madrid, but I also want to join a team where I can play and get minutes. If I can do that at Manchester United or another club, I’ll be happy. First-team football is my priority over anything else.

The 27-year-old joined the Spanish giants in a shocking loan move during the summer of 2014, having spent most of the 2013-14 campaign on the United bench. Most expected a similar role for him at the Bernabeu, and at the start of the season, that appeared to be the case.
An injury to Karim Benzema forced the Mexico international into the starting XI, however, and he responded by scoring the winner against rivals Atletico Madrid before bagging a brace against Celta Vigo.
It seems the striker hasn't forgotten how to find the back of the net, and per the Daily Mail's Mike Keegan, he would love to prove himself in the United shirt:
Hernandez couldn't earn manager Louis van Gaal's trust last season, having hardly played the year before, but he remains a popular figure in other places. Mexico coach Miguel Herrera picked the forward for his 2015 Gold Cup squad, via ESPN FC, a team that looks far stronger than the one he sent to the 2015 Copa America:
While Chicharito was sitting on the Madrid bench, the likes of Robin van Persie and Radamel Falcao endured disappointing campaigns in Manchester, and none of the strikers coming off the bench were able to provide the squad with a spark. Hernandez has become somewhat of a specialist in that area in recent years, and as a substitute, he could provide solid value.
Then again, the flashes he showed while Benzema was nursing an injury might entice potential suitors to lodge a bid during the summer, and if Van Gaal isn't too keen on keeping the Mexican at Old Trafford, that could be the way to go.
Bleacher Report's Andy Brassell expects Van Persie to stay at the club, and with Memphis Depay moving to the Mancunians and more attacking help potentially on the way, Hernandez could be the odd man out:
A sale seems likely at this point, and there should be plenty of interested clubs willing to make Hernandez their star man up front.
Joao Moutinho Offered to Zenit St. Petersburg

AS Monaco are looking to offload midfielder Joao Moutinho, and according to Portuguese newspaper Record (h/t Get French Football News), the French club have offered the Portugal international to Russian club Zenit St. Petersburg.
The two sides are reportedly already talking about a potential €40 million deal, although Metro's George Bellshaw names Manchester United as a potential destination.
Monaco were hit with financial fair play sanctions earlier this season, and as Moutinho is one of the club's best-paid players, it makes sense they would rather move the midfielder as opposed to their young talents. Bleacher Report's Jonathan Johnson believes the club is actively seeking suitors:
The 28-year-old joined the French club in 2013 from Porto, back when Monaco were still flush with cash and also bought the likes of Radamel Falcao and James Rodriguez. FFP torpedoed the ambitious project, however, and while the club still boasts plenty of talent, they need to balance the books in a hurry.
Geoffrey Kondogbia will be a popular name in transfer rumours throughout the summer, but he is one player Monaco would rather not lose. With the sharks circling, via Gianluca Di Marzio's David Amoyal, now would be the perfect time to move Moutinho:
Moutinho is an excellent play-maker who will remind some of Juan Mata, which is one very good reason why the Mancunians should let the Portugal international leave for Zenit. As talented as he is, he never fully lived up to his potential and wouldn't be a clear improvement over Mata, who is already struggling to nail down a spot in the starting XI at Old Trafford.
The Portguese star should't be too expensive, but he won't come cheap, either. He's simply not valuable enough to United, who have other, more pressing needs. A transfer to Zenit makes a lot of sense for Moutinho, who has a history with striker Hulk and manager Andre Villas-Boas from their time together with Porto.
