FT: Mexico 0-0 Bolivia

Mexico and Bolivia shared the spoils after a lack-lustre match in Vina del Mar on Friday night.

El Tri head coach Miguel Herrera saw his team dominate possession in the first period, but Bolivia went closest to scoring when Ricardo Pedriel struck the post in the 14th minute.

Mexico goalkeeper Corona also produced a superb first-half stop to deny the South Americans.

The Mexicans improved in the second period and saw claims for a penalty waved away after substitute Javier Aquino was brought down inside the area.

But the match ended goalless in a result which did not help either side in their Copa America opener.
