Golden State Warriors vs. Cleveland Cavaliers: Game 4 Odds, Betting Stats

OddsShark.comJun 10, 2015

The Cleveland Cavaliers have won two straight games as underdogs in the NBA Finals to take a 2-1 series lead and never trailed in Game 3, yet they have still moved to 2.5-point underdogs at sportsbooks monitored by Odds Shark for Game 4 against the Golden State Warriors.

The Cavaliers won Game 3 by a score of 96-91 as two-point home underdogs and are at -115 to capture the Larry O’Brien Trophy on the updated NBA championship futures.

Cleveland got another impressive performance by star LeBron James in its first home game of the series, as he totaled 40 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists. James is now averaging 41 points per game against Golden State in the NBA Finals, although he is taking an average of nearly 36 shots and converting 40 percent from the field.

Matthew Dellavedova continued his strong play for the Cavs as well in Game 3 by providing an offensive boost, scoring a playoff-high 20 points to go along with five rebounds and four assists filling in for the injured Kyrie Irving.

The Warriors were able to rally late, though, and pull within one point due to NBA MVP Stephen Curry taking over the fourth quarter. Curry scored 17 of his team-high 27 points in the fourth, including five of his seven three-pointers, but it was not enough after his team trailed by 20 in the third.

Golden State failed to shoot better than 40 percent as a team for the second time in as many games in the Warriors vs. Cavaliers betting matchup. However, Curry finished 10-of-20 from the field after getting hounded by Dellavedova and making just 5 of 23 shots in Game 2.

Cleveland improved to 4-4 against the spread at Quicken Loans Arena in the postseason and saw the under cash there for totals bettors for the first time in five games.

The Warriors have dropped consecutive games for the second time in the playoffs and had gone 3-1 straight-up and ATS in their previous four road games. According to the Odds Shark NBA Database, they have not lost three in a row since November 23, 2013.
